Avó Estate

A small, humble country house that takes us back to the simple life of yesteryear. In this renovation we have tried to recapture the essence of our grandparents’ house. The one with the smell of wet earth and freshly baked bread in the wood oven. A space for rural tourism that invites us to relax and enjoy life’s little pleasures, taking us back to childhood memories and the biological need for “feet on the ground” and contact with nature.
Traditionally inspired, this renovation reminds us of the childhood concept of home and the first drawings of children’s houses.
Symbolically, in our imagination, “this is a house that actually looks like a house”.
Built into the land, the small building organizes outdoor spaces for different uses: yoga area, swing, swimming pool, barbecue, among many others.
The interior consists of a large living room and kitchen with a multipurpose mezzanine and two suites with views over the pool and the mountains.
At Avó Estate, the traditional house is presented in a sophisticated, modern and elegant reinterpretation without ever losing its simple, natural country essence.
