A new vacation home for the whole family has been created from a small agricultural outbuilding.
The pre-existing threshing floor, which gives its name to the project, has been remodeled into a leisure area with a swimming pool, seating area and playground.
The building has large glazed windows that open onto the garden, pergola and threshing floor; in a continuity and fluidity of spaces that dissolve the physical and symbolic boundaries between inside and outside.
The aim is for all the communal areas, where the family can socialize and enjoy activities, to live as one and in perfect harmony with nature and the surrounding area.
Above the open-plan living room and kitchen is an intimate mezzanine, ideal for reading, meditating and relaxing.
There are also 2 large bedrooms that favor the simplicity of shapes and the charm of country houses for those who want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of large urban centers.
