Pure Living Villas

Inspired by the geometric shape in which the tender leaves grow on the trees (a proportion technically known as the Fibonacci sequence), the outdoor living areas of this tourist resort on the Douro River were also created.

In a balance between Fibonacci curves, vineyards, ruins and slopes, we rehabilitated three houses and built a completely new one.
But in all of them we favored indigenous materials, wood and the typical bright white wall.
We reinterpreted Baião’s traditional construction in a contemporary, countryside, natural language; where the small extensions remind us of old wooden warehouses for agricultural support.

Inside the tourist houses we find the old attic, open onto the living room in a mezzanine that favors family activities with children.

An organic swimming pool, an ecological playground, natural lakes and green paths make the Pure Living Villas a place to visit.
