Apartment SS - Maia

The property to be refurbished, despite being in an excellent state of repair, had a lot of problems with the organization and flow of spaces.
Very small areas with poor natural lighting, as well as circulation corridors that wasted a lot of useful floor space for other rooms, among other things.

The challenge was to remove the circulation spaces and create an open-plan living room with the kitchen, with light and bright finishes so that the spaces gained area, light and life.

One of the bedrooms was converted into an office with the identity of a library open to the living room via a large sliding panel.
The other two bedrooms were redesigned to increase storage areas.
A special focus was on the 9-year-old daughter’s bedroom, where a princess room was designed that could easily adapt to adolescence and adulthood.
